Monday Must-Haves: Beauty Multi-Taskers

I love a product that I can use multiple ways. Not only does it free up precious space in my purse, but it just makes life much easier. These five favorites do the jobs of at least 15 products, and do them well.

Monday Must-Haves: Beauty Multi-Taskers

*NARS "The Multiple" can be used as a lipstick, a blush, an eyeshadow, and a highlighter (among other things), making it an easy choice when I'm in a beauty bind.

*Essie "All in One" glaze can be used with colored polishes as a base or top coat, but can also be worn alone to strengthen nails.

*For those mornings when you could use a few extra hours of beauty sleep, the Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Conceal and Brighten double wand is a God send. One side holds a full coverage concealer while the other will brighten and make you seem bright eyed and alert.

*Guerlain mascara makes me feel like a bombshell in seconds flat. The "Le 2" double sided mascara tube has a bigger wand to coat and separate lashes. The mini wand gets those hard to reach lashes, resulting in big, gorgeous eyes.

*I used to neglect my brows when applying my everyday makeup, but I've recently realized how a nicely groomed set of brows can create a totally polished look. The smashbox Brow Tech To Go makes filling in a cinch, and the gel tidies everything up.

Summer Cheat Sheet

Summer is in two days...yes, two. Instead of resigning yourself to hiding under an umbrella in a muumuu, check out the tips following the break.

Summer Cheat Sheet

Beach Babe Cheat Sheet

1. Hydrate-To make your skin look fresh and glowing, drink plenty of water. Not only will it make your skin look better but it will also flush your system out.

2. Nix the Salt-Curb the temptation to partake in those chips and guac. Too much sodium will bloat you and make you look heavier than you actually are. Instead, fill up with water-rich foods like watermelon, grapefruit, cucumbers, and celery. Additionally, adding peppermint and ginger to your water will decrease bloating.

3. Exfoliate-Rough patches are not sexy at all, so make sure you use a body scrub to slough off any dead skin cells.

4. Bronze (From a Bottle)-I love self-tanner because it masks any imperfections and makes you look like a golden goddess instantly. Apply self-tanner and then try this little trick. Sweep a highlighter down the front of your lower legs to fake toned gams.

5. Posture is Everything-Slouching is no good and will make you look heavier and frumpier. Make sure you walk tall, shoulders back and chest out, to look slimmer in seconds.

Monday Must-Haves

When I think of summer colors, I immediately think of coral and turquoise. They can be worn separately or together, and look great on any skin tone. These are my Monday Must-Haves in the perfect warm weather hues.

Monday Must Haves-Turquoise and Coral

1. I love this Zara dress because it's feminine and cool at the same time. I'm going to pair it with a pair of gold gladiator sandals and an armful of bangles.

2. The retro vibe of these Seychelles sandals are adorably chic. Bonus-the chunky heel makes these comfortable too!

3. Tom Ford can do no wrong and his cosmetic line is proof of that. This color in particular, True Coral, has just enough pigment to deliver a pout full of color. The formula goes on smoothly and really packs a punch.

4. Essie polishes are year-round favorites, but I love mixing and matching these two colors. Try painting your nails with Turquoise and Caicos and draw on chevron stripes in Fifth Avenue for a fresh look.

5. Less is more in the summer. I would throw this bangle on with a gauzy white sundress or white jeans to add a pop of color.

6. This statement necklace turns an outfit into a look. I'll wear this over a simple tee shirt and boyfriend jeans.

7. These colorful studs do the trick on those days that I want to look put together without spending a lot of time prepping.

8. This cross-body bag looks expensive but it's a steal at $50. It can hold your everyday essentials and then be revamped for a night out.

Swim Series: Big Bust

My biggest problem when swimsuit shopping is finding a top supportive enough without looking like my bikini is for a 75 year old. Here are my picks for the well-endowed (and yes, we can wear strapless!)

Swim Series: Large Chest

Swim Series: Tummy Troubles

Swimsuit season is rapidly approaching and it's time to go shopping for a suit. Cringe. Thankfully, you don't have to feel uncomfortable in your bathing suit; the trick is finding swimwear that will conceal your trouble zones and emphasize your assets.

Take a peek at the five best bathing suits for hiding a tummy.

Monday Must-Haves

Summer is (almost) officially here and I am completely in the mood for sun, sand, and  the shore. I grew up going to the Jersey shore and am beyond happy that it has been restored after taking a huge hit during Hurricane Sandy.

My round-up for this week is a collection of things that will have you looking and feeling like a beach babe in no time!

Monday Must-Haves

1.) St. Tropez self-tanning mousse-If it's good enough for Kate Moss, it's good enough for me. This light-as-air mousse goes on smoothly and leaves skin looking sun-kissed instead of orange.

2.) The bold lemon color of this Zara clutch is awesome and would make any outfit pop. Best of all, it's only $20!

3.) To me, chevron is the quintessential summer pattern. I'm giving my iPhone some love and outfitting it in this adorable Kate Spade case.

4.) I'm loving neon nails for summer, but there's something understated and sexy about a nude nail. This duo from NARS offers a shimmery copper and a matte tan, both of which are sure to elongate your arms and legs.

5.) The blue gradient lenses remind me of the ocean, making these sunglasses a fab choice. The $13 price tag isn't so bad either.

6.) Hot weather means lots of ponytails and messy chignons. Showcase your tan (faux, of course) with these fun Stella & Dot earrings.

Desk To Drinks: Black Trousers

Every woman has a pair of black pants, but mine tend to stay in my closet when I'm not at work. I decided to test drive a pair of trousers for a night out. It was a nice departure from jeans and made me feel put together without much effort.

Desk To Drinks: Black Trousers

By day, black pants paired with a silk blouse in a gorgeous purple looks sleek and professional. I added a pop of color with a turquoise cocktail ring and finished the look off with a pair of glasses and some simple black heels.

For evening I lightened everything up with an airy peach top and nude sandals. A criss-cross cuff and statement clutch added to the easy transition. This outfit is perfect for dinner and drinks, or even an after-work function that isn't so formal.

Take Two: Maxi Dress

I love, love, love a good maxi dress. Perfect for summer, a maxi is a simple way to look awesome without much effort. That being said, I hate seeing women only wear their maxi "as is." There are so many variations, including my two favorites below.

Take Two: Maxi Dress

Left: To create a bohemian look, I would top my J.Crew maxi with this chambray shirt, buttoned and tied in the front with the sleeves rolled up. I'd throw on these tasseled sandals and an armful of assorted beaded bracelets to complete the look.

Right: I would keep things classic by slipping into a striped boyfriend cardigan, unbuttoned and possibly with a belt. A pair of turquoise sandals and a hot pink monogram necklace would add just the right pops of color.

How do you style your maxi dress?

What's In My Makeup Bag

I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, but I wear even less during the spring and summer. I hate feeling like my face is caked with product so I try to use the least amount of cosmetics with the most bang for their buck. These items are currently my go-to products in my makeup bag.

What's In My Makeup Bag

1. Ole Henriksen "Truth To Go Wipes" are travel-friendly and great for all skin types, while still removing tough eye makeup. The scent is a light citrus that smells great.

2. Essie "Bottle Service" nail polish is a punchy hot pink hue that makes me happy.

3. tarte's Amazonian Clay Eye and Cheek Palette is waterproof, due to a collaboration with synchronized swim team, the Aqualillies. The colors are vibrant and perfect for summer, and can also be worn for a day at the beach.

4. Kate Spade "Live Colorfully" rollerball is a feminine blend of floral, citrus, and musk. The packaging ensures that it won't spill all over your bag.

5. Oscar Blandi's Texture and Volume spray is the solution to creating a sexy, tousled hairdo or adding a little oomph to a topknot or ponytail.

6. Benefit "They're Real" mascara lengthens, lifts, curls, and adds volume to lashes giving you doll lashes that would make Kim Kardashian jealous.

7. Clinique CC Cream is a fantastic multi-tasker. The lightweight formula evens skin tone, eliminates redness, and provides coverage  so you're one and done.

8. Emi-Jay hair ties don't crease your hair and the colors pop.

I toss everything in this nautical inspired C. Wonder cosmetic bag and I'm good to go!

Everything's Coming Up Rose Gold

Often overlooked, rose gold is having a major moment right now. Rose gold is a mixture of traditional gold and copper, resulting in a gorgeous pink hue. It's softer than yellow gold but warmer than sterling silver, making it an ideal choice for spring and summer.
