Recipe Box: (Yummy, I Swear) Green Juice

Green juice gets a bad rap. Many people are turned off just by the color and others equate it to drinking a salad through a straw. The good news is if you have the right recipe, you'll eventually like, if not love, a nice, tall glass. My go-to recipe comes from my good friend Lauren Kelly. Just trust me on this one.

Lauren Kelly's Detox Green Smoothie

1 cup of 0% plain Greek yogurt
1 organic apple, cored 
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1/2 cup chopped mango
1/4 lemon, take out the seeds, keep the peel
1 inch of fresh ginger
5 cups kale leaves
1 tbs. chia seeds

Add all ingredients in order to a blender. Blend until everything is mixed together. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
